Creating daily analyses of surface air temperature globally
During the European Geophysical Union (EGU) conference a splinter meeting was organized (besides the rest of the programme) to inform interested people about the EUSTACE project, the planned activities and some very preliminary results.The title of the meeting was: EUSTACE: a worldwide daily temperature dataset. The meeting was used also to collect information on user needs.
Two virtual meetings were organized to reach a wider group of potentially interested people, compared to the people present at the EGU-conference. The presentation given can be found here.
Results from these meetings were included in report 16 (see EUSTACE final results) on design requirements.
